After a long day of work, you might want to get out and enjoy a night in the city with your friends. Whether you prefer a drink at a bar, some high-energy concert music, or even a magic show — Indianapolis has everything to offer. Here are a few of the best ways to spend your nights in Indy!

Mind Tripping Show is the #1 Comedy Mind Reading Show in the US and the longest-running live theater show in Indianapolis. Christian and Katalina perform clean comedy and mess with your mind to create a great night of entertainment. Grab a drink at the bar with your friends and enjoy the show! If you’re really feeling brave, you can even participate in it!

2. HI-Fi – Murphy Art Center

Hi-Fi Indy and Hi-Fi Indy Annex are indoor and outdoor concert venues in the heart of Fountain Square. Easy Rider Diner is next door and connected to Hi-Fi, and you can bring your leftovers into the Hi-Fi venue. Hi-Fi Indy supports local organizations and gives back to the community by donating money and merchandise.

The Slippery Noodle Inn is Indiana’s oldest bar just across the street from the Lucas Oil Stadium. They constantly have different performers who offer great entertainment. The Slippery Noodle has outdoor seating, too. If you’re looking for some pre- or post-football game socializing, this is the place to do it!

The Vault Indy is a bar that provides great cocktails, bourbons, and food pairings from around Indy. This speakeasy has a rich history as a hideout for bank robbers, and the vintage interior will make you feel like you’ve traveled to the early 20th century. They host live music during the weekdays. The door is just like the entrance to a vault, but make sure to get the code to enter!

Maru Studio is a family-owned and operated Korean karaoke club. You and your friends can book a private room, choose your favorite songs, and sing your hearts out. Maru offers authentic Korean food as well as different drinks found across the globe. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you can order an entree and get free fries. On Thursdays, domestic beers are buy one get one free!

The Chatterbox Jazz Club is the perfect place to chill if you’re looking for great drinks, smooth music, and an intimate atmosphere. Spend your evening relaxing with a beer on tap and some live jazz. All jazz players are welcome no matter the experience. For years, the Chatterbox Jazz Club has been the inspiration for storytellers. Known as the Best Dive Jazz Club in Indianapolis, this small club has many stories to tell.

The Vogue originally started out as a movie theater in 1938, but ever since 1977, it has been one of the most popular nightclubs in the Midwest. It is considered the top nightspot in Indy and has won numerous awards. From top-performing artists to specially selected beer, wine, and cocktails — The Vogue will give you a night you won’t forget.

The Britton Tavern offers a variety of events, food, and drinks. They have live music every weekend, free pool table games every Monday, as well as trivia nights on Wednesdays. Britton Tavern also has an extensive food menu with great vegetarian options and many beverages to choose from. So, bring your friends to enjoy a chilled, beer and a saucy wrap!

Alley’s Alehouse has it all! Not only can you go bowling there and get some food and drinks, but they even have a luxury arcade for their guests to have even more fun. You can participate in live trivia, cosmic bowling, and music bingo. Alley’s Alehouse also uses kiosks which makes for a faster check-in for both reservations or walk-ins.

Wooden Bear Brewery is the first brewery in Greenfield, Indiana, and all of its beers are hand-crafted. The brewery is also connected to Greek’s Pizzeria, so you can order a fresh, cheesy slice whenever you get hungry. Their pizza salads, wings, and sticks pair perfectly with a nice cold beer.  Come “get your GROWL on” with your friends!

Entertainment, food, and drinks sound like the perfect combination. We hope this helps you find some fun ways to spend your evenings in Indianapolis. We hope to see you around the city this summer!
