Describe the impact 100 Black Men of Indianapolis has on the community.

For over 36 years, the 100 Black Men of Indianapolis has mentored and impacted thousands of youth and given millions of dollars in scholarship to deserving young men and women through our mentoring programs. In our 6 mentoring programs, we mentor students in our 4 pillars: Mentoring, Leadership, Health & Wellness, and Economic Empowerment.

What kind of impact would a $10,000 donation from Indyfluence have on your organizations right now?

During this COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to postpone some of our mentoring programs, which means over 100 students have gone without mentoring from positive role models from our organization and community. $10,000 will allow the 100 to invest in virtual mentoring curriculums that will allow us to continue our mentoring programs without interruption and develop long term strategies to prepare to implement virtual mentoring across all of our programs to impact the over 500 total program participants we serve each year.
